Rein’S Rabbitry

We own a small environmental consulting firm, WEBR Environmental. We enjoy helping our clients achieve their greenest goals imaginable. Outside of our business and rabbit hobby we as a family are pretty eclectic; we enjoy traveling, Jeeping, mountain biking, being outdoors, music,  movies, KC Irish Fest...the list is endless!

We have a Komondor, Cayenne, that is our PLGD (People & livestock guardian dog). She keeps watch over her people and rabbits. Our new happy puppy, Bindi Lou, that we picked out at the shelter back home in TN. Castiel, the Persian, graces us with his charming presence. Finally, what is family without at least one reptile?! William has a Dragon, Pepper.

Our Rabbitry History:
In July 2005 our family started with a trio of Lionheads, soon after, the Hollands came along. Pretty quickly we discovered that Lionheads were not for us and that our true passion was with the Holland Lops. Our eldest daughter and son started showing their Hollands as a team in 2006 and had rather quick success on the show table. 2007 brought even more, they were ranked 20th in the Nation, 3rd for Zone 5, with 17 quality points for the year. However, once Elizabeth became an upper class-man in high school she found new things to do with her time leaving William to continue showing with the help of our youngest daughters, Ragan and Briley. As the younger girls grew independent they found that they had their own passions and goals where rabbits are concerned.

William and Gabby Simmons of Mossy Possum Farms started a co-op in the Winter of 2010 with their collective Holland Lop herds. William also has a small Dutch herd. Briley claims all the solid black Hollands born. She currently shows her blacks in open. Ragan, raises Tort and REW Mini Rex with a few black and broken.

The future for our Rabbity:
Our goal is always to strive for the ultimate Holland, Mini Rex and Dutch. We have seen our share of achievements right down to the greatest of frustrations and set backs and through it all we are most thankful for the frustrations; without them the achievements wouldn’t be near as sweet. Therefore, like us, our rabbits continue to be a work in progress! It is our desire to continue to raise the very best of what we are capable of producing and sharing our hobby with perspective, new and current ARBA members.

Our Many Thanks!!!! We believe in giving credit where credit is due! We are so thankful to God and feel incredibly blessed for the precious adored time spent with our family, life lessons learned through our hobby, friends, and our countless safe trips to and from shows! Our deepest gratitude for the advice and guidance not to mention the fellowship from our rabbit friends! We would like to also thank the Gromley's for a great base line!

Thank you for your interest in our rabbits!
